The Voluntary Registration Scheme for the Retail Motor Trade (VRS) was introduced by Lincolnshire County Council Trading Standards in conjunction with the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) and the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as part of an overall objective to establish high standards of trade in the motor industry in Lincolnshire.

The scheme has been running successfully for 12 years and Andrews Car Centre, a family run business, was one of the first in the County to sign up to the innovative scheme.
